Fit For Mission
We in Sutton Parish are becoming Fit for Mission. We are working with our deanery to explore the future with courage building on the strong faith foundations already laid by our families and friends. Our aims are to introduce people to Jesus, deepen discipleship, develop Christian leaders and work for justice. Our Navigation Team are guiding us as we walk this unfamiliar territory and will tell us what is happening every step of the way. We have had our first update which is available in all of our church buildings but if you would like to receive the updates directly, please do email Rev Lynne and she will add you to the list. Continue to pray for our town of St Helens, for the Navigation Team, for an administrator and for more people knowing Jesus.

A PRAYER for UKRAINE
God of peace and justice,
we pray for the people of Ukraine today,
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their descions.
Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, Prince of Peace.
Amen
