A Request from Cathy & Ian Knowles

Since our recent visit to the boy’s home in Jerusalem, Ian and I are collecting football shirts, aged from 10 – 15 to send to the boys at the home, as they all loved their football and just thought it was some way of giving a bit of

happiness.

If anyone or know of anyone, friends, family etc, has any old football shirts, age from 10 – 15 that they don’t want and who would be willing to donate them to us, so that we can then send them on to the home, it would be much appreciated.

You can contact me on 07765 736199 or drop them off on a Sunday at St Michaels Food Pantry.

Many thanks

A PRAYER for UKRAINE

God of peace and justice,

we pray for the people of Ukraine today,

We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.

We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your spirit of comfort would draw near to them.

We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their descions.

Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them.

We pray in the name of Jesus, Prince of Peace.

Amen
